Hujambo Bitcoin Family,
I woke up early today and decided to go for a run! I wanted to run by the lake, but unfortunately, it was closed – so I managed to run a few km in the city.
After returning from the run, I took a shower and cooked breakfast for myself and my hosts. I then headed along with them to the town. We picked up my Yellow-Fever vaccination certificate and proceeded further.
We wanted to go to this sanctuary, but they were charging me $22 as I was a foreigner – so I decided to give it a pass! 😊 We did chill by the lake throughout the afternoon. We had a couple of cold drinks and other beverages.
In the evening, we headed to the center of Masai Craft Market to check if anyone would accept Bitcoin. We found Harry who was keen to learn and opened a Blue Wallet and received a few sats from me via Lightning Network. I got a baby rhino as a gift for my host in Uganda.
Later we decided to head home, I came to find out a lot of unpleasant things :S – In the morning, my video editor had quit, and later in the day I get a message from Bitrefill, that they don’t want to renew the contract.
All these unforeseen events did trigger me to reach out to a lot more people in search of collaborations and further partnerships.
To top it all – I find out the mobile guy that I had gone my phone for repair to has gone AWOL!
Quite a bummer of a day – but such is life…I guess! :/ But hey, I complete 200 days -HALF of the journey that I had set out on - THE silver lining for the day!
A well-wisher did share a few sats as the night ended.
Thank you everyone for supporting this journey.
Thanks, Nihal for your assistance.
